“Chris helped me start a new routine of running every day, and it made a huge difference to my motivation. Knowing that he would meet me from my house at a fixed time each week kept me focused, and I’ve already made good progress towards running 5k. Also it’s amazing how running first thing has helped me get so much more done every morning before work. The running, together with Chris’s warm-up exercises and stretches, even seems to have cured my old knee injury. I’d definitely recommend Chris if you want to try running, as his enthusiasm has made me succeed in something I’d always given up on in the past.”

“For my D of E I had to acquire a skill and due to Chris’ previous support with fitness I wanted to become better at running. I spoke to him and we came up with the plan of trying to get close to 20 minutes to complete a 5k run (for me a seemingly impossible task). At my first attempt I ran it in around the 30 minute mark but over the next 3 months with Chris giving experienced, expert advice and accompanying me on runs, to improve techniques and breathing patterns I was able to narrow it down to 20:27.

Despite having finished my D of E Chris’ enthusiasm has encouraged me into continuing to complete 5k runs and achieving even faster times. I’ve continued with fitness in forms such as weights, running and trying to achieve a healthy balanced diet and Chris has given me valuable help with training plans, techniques and nutrition.”
